"fixing" anatomy isn't going to solve your pain, or help you get stronger.

“Fixing anatomy problems” doesn't equate to getting pain free, becoming stronger, increasing mobility, or improving function.

First of all - “fixing” implies something is broken - and that's inaccurate (unless a bone is literally cracked), because postural anatomy variances (like a slightly rotated collar bone, hip shift, or winging shoulder blade) are completely common and have yet to ever be linked to persisting pain, so we can stop with all the anatomical body shaming.

Secondly, you can absolutely change your pain, get stronger, move more freely, and get back to things you want and love to do, without waiting 100 years for those posture exercises to may (probably not, though) change stiffness/tension/mechanics.

We are living through a global inactivity and chronic pain crisis, in a world full of fear and fragility around moving “properly”, instead of respecting pathology and healing and moving in ways that feel good and are progressing you towards the things you love to do in your life.

If you believe you're broken and need fixing though, you're probably right.
And, if you believe change is possible and you're able to adapt, you're also right.

I hope you make it the best Sunday ✨
