The Empowerment Method:

Are you ready to break free from the experiences that have held you back from moving and living the way you want?

Are you ready to trust your body, your abilities, and yourself again?

Quit playing games by being on the therapy table multiple times a week, with the hours of “corrective rehab” exercises, that still haven’t gotten you back to where you want to be.

I will efficiently and effectively help you facilitate a safe return to work, sport, play, or any aspect of life you need, using a holistic approach to rehabilitation, pain management, and/or training.

Since I’m certified as an Athletic Therapist, Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, Strength Coach, and Steel Mace Flow Coach, we’ve got a lot of really cool ways that we can work together, and can create the change that you’re looking to make!

Hi! I’m Megan✨

I’m an athletic therapist in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where I’ve had a private practice specializing in persistent pain management since 2014. I’ve worked with sports teams and athletes of all levels from rec to pro. I’m also a published academic author, teach in international continuing education and mentorship programs, and speak on various topics within the realm of chronic pain assessment and and management.

I’ve experienced a career-ending sports injury that led me to have multiple surgeries, and I’ve also walked away from car accidents and injuries that all had me feeling stuck in a cycle of pain, (re)injury, and nervousness about what’s coming next.

Since I experienced a lot of that while graduating from my athletic therapy program and starting my career in the rehab and training world, I thought everything would be pretty straightforward…because that’s what textbooks taught me…except then, it wasn’t.

So I get the frustration of persisting pain, and feeling lost.

And it’s become my mission to help whoever else I can, navigate through those experiences.

I can help you break free from the pain/injury cycles that you’ve been caught in, and empower you to move and live freely again.

client experiences:

“Megan is with you the entire time, and always does some teaching, therapy, and guides you through all exercises. She gives honest projections the healing timeframe, what specific exercises are needed, and what the prospects are for certain activities ahead. She never patronizes older people but treats them as those whose life activities are just as interesting and important as those of a high-level athlete.”

“Megan is absolutely awesome at her job, super passionate and knowledgable. I felt heard, and she reviewed anything I needed in a way I could understand. Several weeks of strengthening exercises resulted in a pain-free body that I haven’t felt in 3 years. Huge benefits, I am so grateful!”

“Megan is the first therapist to really listen to me, and treat me as a subjective case. she really wanted to understand me, and how my body moves, so for the first time, i was motivated to complete my rehab.
I feel lucky to have come across her on instagram, and i’d recommend her to anyone”
